We are eternally grateful to the entire staff at PFC. We were a part of Dr. Ryan's Team and although bc of many different factors we didn't always get to meet with her I had the opportunity to meet every physician and they were wonderful. Dr. Ryan made sure to communicate my expectations as well as hers. So all my appoitments went smoothly. The only issue we encountered was the 1st anesthesiologist we met. But after speaking with Dr Ryan and expressing my concerns, she made sure to schedule another anesthesiologist the day of my retrieval. EVERYONE from receptionists to financial counselors to nurses and physicians were kind and patient. Because of their help we are now expecting our 1st little one in March and we couldn't be happier with treatment and respect we recieved at PFC. I have already recommended them to a friend and we will personally return when we are ready for our next bundle of joy.
"I want to personally thank Dr. Schriock for making my pregnancy possible..."

I'm very surprised at some of the negative feedback on Yelp. However, everyone's experience with fertility is personal, unique and emotional, so I respect all opinions. I wanted to share my story about Dr. Schriock and his care team at PFC.
As of today I have "graduated" from Pacific Fertility and am now happily 10 weeks pregnant and moving on to my OB.
My husband and I have been trying for over 5 years to conceive a child. It started like any story in that we thought it would be easy to conceive once we decided it was time. Little did we know how hard it would be and how educated we would become on the human reproductive process. We live in the South Bay and after a year of trying on our own we sought help from a local fertility clinic. After 2 IUI, 3 rounds of IVF, 2 FET and 1 miscarriage we decided to change doctors. We interviewed 4 fertility clinics in the area and decided not to select a doctor based on proximity and convenience. We ended up selecting Dr. Schriock at PFC and made the commitment to drive from the South Bay to SF!
Given my history of lack luster IVF results, we had pretty much lost hope by the time we went to PFC in Dec 2011. I really appreciated that Dr. Schriock took the time to review all our previous medical records before our consultation. The staff is professional and organized and we really liked the leading edge technology with their online portal and paperless medical records. We know that there are clinics that are more aggressive with their protocol but we felt that Dr. Schriock had put together a protocol that is advanced (compared to our previous clinic) but at the same time we never felt uncomfortable with. We believe that this protocol helped us to achieve the better results.
I also truly appreciated the fact that I was able to see Dr. Schriock for almost all of my appointments which was a welcomed change of pace from my other clinic.
I want to personally thank Dr. Schriock for making my pregnancy possible although I know that he doesn't want to take full credit for it. I also want to thank his two awesome nurses, Laura and Anita for caring for me, being very sweet through the whole process, and sharing their excitement in my pregnancy.
I am giving PFC 4 stars based on Dr. Schriock, the care from the team, their ability to get better results and most of all restoring my hope. I hugged Dr. Schriock today and truly feel sad that I'm no longer in their care.

I was a patient here in 2010. Yes, it was a very busy clinic and you are not going to see the same staff and same doctors all of the time. Throughout our time there and our many many return visits to the clinic, we did encounter a few folks who didn't seem to know what they were doing (they were admin staff, not the clinicians) but I didn't feel that they were any less competent than the staff at my dentist office or PCP. For the most part, everyone was very kind and professional. The facility is beautiful and I always felt comfortable there. Dr. Shriock was my physician and very good.
I'm a little surprised at all of the negative comments here - it really isn't a bad clinic. Maybe it's because I got pregnant and have a 16 month old now it's easy for me to look back positively. Either way, I'll be going back this year to try for baby #2.
